OTC Foundation: Capital Campaign
The OTC Foundation raises funds to support student scholarships, endowments for new programs and capital improvements. As the College continues to grow, finding additional funding has never been more important. Our major gifts capital campaign will provide a better understanding of OTC's positive impact on the community and will create even more enthusiasm for the College's supporters.
College Breaks Ground for Norman K. Myers Technical Education Center Addition
Missouri Governor Matt Blunt joined OTC officials to officially break ground for the new addition to the Norman K. Myers Technical Education Center. The project, estimated at $1.8 million, is being paid for entirely with state funds from Blunt's Lewis and Clark Discovery Initiative. The addition will provide more classroom space and faculty offices.
Foundation Golf Tournament Raises Thousands for Scholarships
The second-annual OTC Foundation Golf Tournament helped raise money for the OTC Foundation. The tournament, held August 25 at Highland Springs Country Club, drew 92 golfers. forming 23 teams. Foundation officials estimate the event raised nearly $15,000, all of which goes to the Foundation's student scholarship fund.
