"In my fifties, I decided the nursing profession was a challenging and fulfilling `second chapter` for me. I`m from Texas, play tennis like it’s my job and will graduate from the one-year practical nursing program in July 2024. My dream is to become a registered nurse."
Kelly chose Ozarks Tech because our PN program is reasonably priced and highly regarded in southwest Missouri. She discovered OTC through a web search and hasn`t looked back since.
Her favorite part of the program? "My program is predominantly online, so I particularly enjoyed the in-class activities and simulation labs."

As anticipation grows for the new Center for Workforce and Student Success, we’re excited to introduce the new Food Court🥗
Our new building will feature a vibrant food court with four different food and beverage options to satisfy various tastes and dietary needs. This space will be designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment where students can relax, socialize and refuel. 🙌Imagine enjoying a delicious meal or refreshing drink between classes without leaving campus. The food court will be a central hub of activity, offering a range of options from quick snacks to full meals.

Explore your options at Ozarks Tech! Our helpful admissions staff and college navigators are holding special summer hours just in time for fall classes. The Springfield campus will be open from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 and Saturday, Aug. 10. All other campuses and centers will be open from 9 a.m-2 p.m. Aug. 10. We look forward to seeing you!
👋Meet Audrey. My Dream empowers agribusiness.
At 20 years old, this vibrant student from Fair Grove, Missouri, has spent the past two years at Ozarks Tech, making the most of every opportunity.
Audrey chose OTC because of the A+ scholarship and the outstanding Ag program. "I heard about the college from my high school," she says, and it was a perfect fit for her dreams and interests🐏
Outside of her studies, Audrey enjoys working cattle, working at a wedding venue, thrifting and visiting farmers` markets.
Her most memorable moment? "Going to the Young Farmers and Ranchers conference at the Margaritaville resort. It was a good conference with awesome information and I made even better friends!"💙
Audrey advises new students to get involved: "Get on the Collegiate Farm Bureau board and make a difference!" Being active and engaged has been key to her rewarding experience at OTC.
