If you have questions or are experiencing problems please email helpdesk@otc.edu and give a detailed account of the nature of your problem. If this is an emergency or you are unable to email helpdesk@otc.edu, you may call the Help Desk at 447-7548.

Student Help Desk located in Information Commons Atrium

The Student Computer Help Desk is located in the Information Commons building in front of the main switchboard. It’s all about "Students Helping Students." The Student Help Desk, staffed by student workers, primarily services other students with technology issues such as:

  • Student password change while on campus (photo ID required)
  • Wireless internet set-up instructions and WEP key (photo ID required)
  • MyOTC use, if student is on campus
  • Campus Maps
  • Campus and Technology Resource Information
  • Location of walk-up computers for student use

Monday, January 5, 2009 through Friday, January 9, 2009, 8:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m.

  • CLOSED January 8 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for training
  • CLOSED Saturday and Sunday

Spring 2009 January 12 - May 16, 2007

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Saturday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Sunday: Closed

Student Computer Help Desk will be closed on the following dates:

  • January 19 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – No Classes/College Closed
  • February 13 through 16 – President’s Day Holiday - No Classes/College Closed
  • March 23 through 26 – Spring Break No Classes
  • March 27 through 29 – Spring Break - No Classes/College Closed

Opening dates, times and hours of availability are subject to change based on staff availability, student use and administrative requirements.

Information Technology Help Desk located in Graff Hall, Room 203

The Information Technology Help Desk provides OTC users with technical support and provides a central point to report problems or issues. This is a full service Help Desk to assist faculty, staff, and students with OTC computer related problems. The OTC Help Desk also provides assistance with various issues including:

  • Student password change while on campus (photo ID required)
  • All Employee Issues
  • All Campus Computer Issues
  • Student password resets if student is not on campus
  • Student technology issues if student is not on campus
  • The OTC Web site
  • The phone system

Hours of Operation:

  • Monday — Thursday 7:30am to 5:00pm
  • Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm

After Hours Help

If you experience problems during hours that the Help Desk and/or Student Help Desk are closed, email helpdesk@otc.edu, and/or call 417-447-7548 and leave a voicemail. Someone will address those issues the next business day.
